Nigeria’s Ajayi sets new Meet record with 9.9 seconds victory in France

Kanyinsola Ajayi achieved a personal best record on Monday by winning the men’s 100m at the Meeting International Sotteville-lès-Rouen in France in 9.92 seconds.

22-year-old Ajayi took off from the fifth lane at the Stade Jean Adret with a reaction time of 0.156 seconds, edging out opponents that included five sub-10-second runners.
