Kano announces drop in number of out-of-school-children

According to the Commissioner, previous figures were largely estimates derived from national samples and other sources, whereas the 2026 out-of-school-children figure is based on a rigorous state-wide survey, providing verified and disaggregated data by Local Government Areas, age and gender.
