Adelabu: FG attracts $2bn for power grid, off-grid projects

The Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has announced that over $2 billion in new capital has been attracted for grid expansion and off-grid electrification projects in Nigeria.

This comes as the annual sector revenue rose by 70 per cent, from ₦1 trillion in 2023 to ₦1.7 trillion in 2024, reducing the government’s subsidy obligations by ₦700 billion.
