Spain goalkeeper, Unai Simón has set a new FIFA World Cup record for the longest time played in finals matches without conceding a goal.
Guinness World Records confirmed on Facebook on Friday night that Simón played 649 minutes in World Cup finals matches without letting in a goal, breaking the 36-year-old record of 518 minutes held by Italy’s Walter Zenga since 1990.
