A fierce fire outbreak on Monday evening swept through the Central Market in Katsina State, destroying 10 shops and goods valued at millions of naira.

The incident, which occurred around 6:34 p.m., was reportedly triggered by a solar-powered inverter, according to the Katsina State Fire Service.
