The Lagos State government continued its crackdown on illegal settlements on Monday by demolishing shanties built along a drainage channel in the Adeniji Adele area of Lagos Island. The state commissioner for the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this in a video of the demolition shared on X.com on Monday.
