Sokoto boosts irrigation to tackle unemployment

The Sokoto State government has invested in irrigation infrastructure as part of a broader strategy to combat unemployment and stimulate economic growth in the state.

The government has distributed farm inputs, including pumping machines, grinding machines, and fertiliser, to 91 communities across the 23 local government areas of the state.
