The Oyo State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has praised the state governor, Seyi Makinde, on his recent approval of N80,000 minimum wage for the state’s workers, surpassing federal worker’s pay.
This development comes after Makinde’s earlier promise to pay N70,000 minimum wage once the issue of consequential salary adjustment was addressed.
