Oyo curfew for Alaafin’s seclusion rites shortened to 6.5 hours

The 10-hour curfew earlier declared on Friday for the seclusion rites (Oro Ipebi) for the new Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade, has been reviewed downward. The curfew, which was reduced from 10 hours to six and a half hours, will now begin at 10 p.m. and end at 4:30 a.m., instead of the previously announced 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
