IGP orders investigation into Kogi boat mishap, condoles with victims’ families

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, has ordered an investigation into the tragic boat accident that occurred along the Dambo-Ebuchi waterways of the River Niger in Kupa Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The accident, which occurred on November, 29, involved over 160 passengers, with 24 rescued and others still unaccounted for.
