BREAKING: Anxiety as heavily armed security personnel take over Emir Sanusi’s palace

Heavily armed police officers and State Security Service (SSS) operatives have encircled the Kano Emir’s Palace in Kofar Kudu, barring entry and exit from the environment.

Security was deployed to the palace as a result of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II’s efforts to install his newly appointed Wamban Kano, District Head of Bichi.
