Alexander Isak scored his 50th goal for Newcastle United as Eddie Howe’s in-form side secured an advantage 2-0 victory over Arsenal in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semifinal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.
Isak opened the scoring shortly before halftime, and his involvement in Anthony Gordon’s second-half goal put Newcastle firmly in control of the tie.
