Deregistration suit: Court rejects Adeleke’s joinder bid

Abuja: The Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday rejected applications by some parties and politicians, including Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun, seeking to be joined in a suit seeking the deregistration of several political parties over alleged constitutional breaches.

Justice Peter Lifu, in a ruling, held that the applicants seeking to be joined were not necessary parties.
