Igbo leaders celebrate Beatrice Ekweremadu’s release

Some Igbo leaders have expressed joy and relief following the release of Beatrice Ekweremadu, wife of former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, from a UK prison.

Beatrice’s return to Nigeria has reignited hope for the eventual release of her husband, who remains incarcerated over a controversial organ trafficking case.
