Polytechnic workers suspend planned strike after government intervention

The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Polytechnics has suspended its planned three-day warning strike, initially scheduled to commence today, January 22, 2025. In a statement signed by the National Secretary of SSANIP, Nura Gaya, and made available to The PUNCHon Wednesday, the suspension followed a meeting mediated by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment.
