Nigeria has earned two bronze medals at the 11th Commonwealth Karate Championship held in Durban, South Africa. Rita Ogene secured a bronze in the women’s -68kg category, while Israel Jegede clinched the bronze in the men’s -84kg category.
A total of five athletes represented Nigeria at the competition, accompanied by two coaches, one referee, a board member, and the Secretary-General.
