Augustine Eguavoen, the Super Eagles’ interim coach, has stated that Monday’s humiliating 2-1 home loss to Rwanda will not work against his team in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Nigerian national team will face the Amavubi when the 2026 World Cup qualifiers start in March 2025.
