Why AFRIMA matters and why Africa must keep it alive

With the African Union as partners, AFRIMA was conceived to recognise excellence across the continent while encouraging cooperation between artistes, policymakers and investors. After years of planning and stakeholder engagement, the first edition was held in Lagos in 2014.
