Eighteen people have been confirmed dead following a fatal road traffic accident along the Dutse–Kwanar Babaldu highway in Jigawa on Tuesday.
The crash, which involved three vehicles, occurred when a Volkswagen vehicle conveying passengers reportedly suffered a tyre burst.
